Week 4
A Fairy Tale Transformation
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
A tarnished past becomes a shining future. Nightmares turned into dreams come true. Maids transformed into Cinderellas. Ugly ducklings into swans. A frog becomes a prince. Childhood fairytales—but they don’t have to be! With Christ, transformation is really possible… for you!
The Christian life is a progression. We don’t just suddenly do better, act better, and make wiser decisions. But with God, we can change. Neither is everything all rosy and sweet in the Christian life. In fact, sometimes things tend to be even harder. But as we invite Christ into our lives and learn about His nature, we begin to change as we grow in Him. The more we know about Him and the more we experience His presence and unfailing love for us, the more we are able to move boldly and confidently into the world, believing that with God all things really are possible.
But God is only going to match the effort you put in. Transformation starts with you. You are a work in progress. God’s dream for you is being fulfilled every day. He wants you to experience more—to live a life better than you’ve ever dreamed. Ask Him today to show you the way!
Dear Lord. Transform me into the dream You want me to be—perfect and holy. Help me to see Your vision for me as You sanctify my life. Amen.
