God Is All You Need

“My grace is enough; it’s all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 MSG

Ever try to divide your time and attention evenly and fairly among family, friends, deadlines, expectations, work demands and church obligations? Life gets difficult real fast. But you can manage it, and you can be set apart by understanding this one principle: God is enough. Understand it. And apply it to your life and you suddenly move from the mundane to the unimaginable and from the uncertain to the certain. You don’t blend in anymore because you now live differently. It’s no longer about you.

When things are falling apart around you, God is enough. When illness invades your life or that of a loved one, God is enough. When you feel you’ve lost your way, God is enough. When life is out of control, God is enough.

Focusing on God’s sufficiency is the most important step toward capturing God’s dream for you. Remember, the journey isn’t about capturing the dream; the journey is about knowing the God who placed the dream in you to begin with. If you focus on the dream and not God, your focus is misplaced and you’ll get lost and stumble. But if you focus on God first, He will provide what you need to grasp the dream

Know that God loves you and that He is enough to see you through. God has always been changing the world, one woman at a time.

Prayer:
Help me to realize, Lord, that Your grace is all I need no matter what happens in my life. Stand close to me, let me feel your presence so I can be set apart from the world and shine your light on all around me. Amen.
