I am so excited about the thousands of women attending this weekend’s Everlasting Hope Extraordinary Women conference at the MetroCentre in Rockford, IL! We are thrilled about our special guests, Anita Renfroe, Sheri Rose Shepherd, Elisa Morgan, Ann Voskamp and Thelma Wells; and inspiring music by award-winning Christian artists, Michael O’Brien, Meredith Andrews, and Mark Schultz. The conference weekend will kick off with two pre-conference workshops with Thelma Wells and Elisa Morgan on Friday!

Schedule:

  • Friday, November 4th
    • Pre-conference Morning Workshop I with Thelma Wells at 9:30 a.m.
    • Pre-conference Break 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (be sure to bring a lunch/snack or prepare to go offsite during this time)
    • Pre-conference Afternoon Workshop II with Elisa Morgan at 1:00 p.m.
    • Coliseum doors open at 6:00 p.m.
    • Event starts at 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 5th
    • Doors open at 7:30 a.m.
    • Event starts at 8:30 a.m.

Tickets:

Don’t forget to bring your ticket that will be your admission to the event both Friday night and Saturday morning! You should either have an e-ticket to print off, or tickets that arrived in the mail (you had to select the mail option for an additional charge). If you did not receive your ticket, you may visit one of our two Will Call/Registration/Information booths conveniently located at both entrances.

Parking:

There is a $5.00 to $15.00 charge for parking at event and municipal parking lots for most events. It is always a good idea to carpool if possible.

NOTE: Wyman Street and State Street parking ramps may not be available for pre-conferences on Friday.

Entrances:

The following entrances will be open:

  • Lower Lobby near Box Office at South Main & Elm Street
  • "Walk-over Tunnel" on Church Street (located on the 2nd floor of the venue and accessible from the parking ramp on Church Street or exterior stairs at the corner of Church Street and Elm Street)

Lunch:

If you pre-purchased boxed lunch tickets, please remember to bring one for each member in your group on Saturday in order to receive your lunch. If you were not able to purchase a boxed lunch in time, there will be concessions available onsite for your convenience during the conference weekend. Also, you will have a lunch break to go offsite if you choose.

Merchandise:

You will be able to shop around the concourse at the conference for materials, books, and clothing to remember the weekend. Look for the first ever, newly released Bible study from Extraordinary Women Ministries, Becoming a Woman of Extraordinary Faith, with a DVD series by Julie Clinton compiling stories of faith from many of the speakers you hear at Extraordinary Women conferences!

Handicap access/seating:

Handicap seating will be specially marked and anyone needing assistance will be allotted an additional seat for one guest to accompany them.

Other helpful tips:

You may want to bring a sweater to stay warm in case the air conditioning is too cool for you at the venue.
