How priceless is your unfailing love! Psalm 36:7
We live in a day and time where everything we do has a price. Heading to an amusement park or even a state park for an afternoon of hiking costs more than just admission-they nail us with parking too. Even the ticket price of going to a movie has skyrocketed to over $10.00 a ticket in many areas. The cost of taking your family for amusement and vacation has become discouraging, and nearly impossible, for many people. Ironically there is one thing we possess, the one thing in this world worth more than everything else, that we received for no price whatsoever-Gods love. Our Father sent His one and only Son to die for our sins once and for all (Hebrews 7:27) because He loves us. Thats right; there is nothing you need to do for God to love you. He loved you when He knit you in your mothers womb. This week, take your family to a beautiful landscape-away from the hustle and bustle of the world. You can drive to the mountains with the changing leaves, sit by a lake or river, or stand in the middle of an open field at night staring into the sky. Meditate for a moment on Gods faithfulness, righteousness, and love in your life. Talk together with your husband or children about Gods love in your lives, and thank and give praise to Him for His many blessings. These moments, and Gods love, are priceless.
