Better one handful with tranquility than two handfuls with toil... Ecclesiastes 4:6

Do you ever work to the point of being incapable of seeing the letters and words correctly on the computer screen? Or what about those days you are overwhelmed because there are so many things to get done and you just cannot get to them? On days like this, those who attempt interaction with you seem like nags, however, most know not to bother you until the next day... or maybe the next week, depending on the level of exhaustion they see you soaked in. For the average American woman, rest has become a hassle. Stressed with the double burden of working a full-time job and taking care of family can be overwhelming and exhausting. When you finally have the time to relax, you are annoyed by the thoughts of what has not yet been done. Remember as you wake up that you need to rely on Him to make it through the day. He promises that He will not give us more than we can handle. Cast your burdens and worries onto Him - Better one handful with tranquility than two handfuls with toil... King Solomon reminds us that worry is meaningless. God is still sovereign even if you do not have time today to finish what can wait for tomorrow. Relax in His Perfect Peace. In Christ's love, Julie
