... In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Green Day. Have you heard of them? You may even listen to them. Though not a Christian band, they are very popular. In fact, they recently won the Grammy award Song of the Year for their hit, Boulevard of Broken Dreams. A song about searching, the singer laments as he walks a broken road, Sometimes, I wish someone out there will find me. Till then, I walk alone. How sad. So many people. So much loneliness. A life void of the Holy Spirit is a vase without flowers. Its empty. You may feel alone even now. Its a terrible feeling, I know. Jeremiah got it right, we are jars of clay. With God as the Potter; however, we can be molded, shaped, and filled with the Holy Spirit. In John 14:17, Jesus promises the Spirit will live with us... and in us. Sister, you’re never alone. Even on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, you can trust His Word. Store it in your heart today because the way will get rough and the slope will get slippery. When it does, you can trust the Holy Spirit is in you... helping you remember His promises and driving away despairs darkness with the light of divine comfort. God made you as a vase to be filled with the Spirits beautiful bouquet of love, joy, peace, forgiveness, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. Its an aroma pleasing to God... the very fragrance of Christ.
Prayer
At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed... - Apostle Paul
