Daughter, you took a risk of faith, and now you’re healed and whole. Live well, live blessed! Be healed of your plague. Mark 5:34 MSG
Desperate. Penniless. Hopeless. One of the most inspiring stories in the Bible is about a woman who hemorrhaged for 12 years (Mark 5:25-34). Though we don’t know her name or her circumstances, we do learn enough to sympathize with her condition. She lives a life longing for peace, contentment and hope-until she hears about Jesus. With faith and hope as her determination, she managed to reach out to and touch Jesus. A tender touch. Not just the touch of someone jostled in the crowd. It was the touch of a believer. Instantly she was healed. Jesus then speaks to her, Daughter, your faith has healed you. Jesus longs to speak the same words to you and me. It doesn’t matter where youve been or what youve done. What matters is who He is. He’s the Hope Giver and your answer to a renewed body and mind free from sin. Delivered from heartache. His dream for you is waiting... just one touch away. Reach out to Him. Touch. And believe.- Bible Readings for the Week Ahead:
