The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17
When do you experience joy? Are your times of joy most intense during health and prosperity when all is well? Maybe your wedding day. Christmas morning. Your childs first day of school. For most, these are some of the days, and even seasons, in our lives when joy is experienced the most. Everything seems right. However, is it possible to experience joy in a deeper way when times are tough? Can joy be experienced more profoundly in times of adversity? I think so. Why? Because our God takes delight in us in the mountains and valleys! Understanding this reality is important for your spiritual journey. Finding joy and peace in the low times can only happen with the right perspective. Gods dream is that you would know there remains a glorious future for the people of God (Zephaniah 3:14-20). You need to put your soul in His hands. Delight in knowing that He cherishes and cares for you. You bring Him great joy!- Bible Readings for the Week Ahead:
