Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14 NKJV

As women, we want to be pursued... to be desired, cherished, adored and loved in relationships. However, relationships can be rather challenging. And, we may have unrealistic expectations that are hard to fill. Pursuing a relationship with God will always bring fulfillment. Isn’t it interesting that the writer of Hebrews associates our relationship with God to our relationship with other people? The depth of our relationship with the Lord will directly reflect the depth of our relationships with others. Once we begin to pursue God, we recognize what He desires-peace and holiness. And in this pursuit we come to find our lives reflecting His heart. As women, the desire to be pursued will never change. God created you that way. He wants you to use that desire and turn it into desire to pursue Him!

Prayer

O Lord, fill my heart with the desire to pursue You. Help me to know You better and delight in Your presence. Unify my spirit with Yours so that I may know Your heart as You know mine. Amen.
