Did you play house when you were little? Did you ever play the role of Mom? For many of us, God has allowed that wonderful dream to come true. Living out that dream requires a lot of love. A mothers love is a reflection of the love God gives to His children, and all mothers need to be a shining example of that magnificent love. Unending. Strong. Secure. Steadfast. Thats a mothers love. It miraculously restores itself after a night up with a child who is thrashing with screams that could wake the neighbors. It is patient through teething and potty training. It endures through several trips to the mall in one week to find just the right outfit. It remains steadfast through tears over a rebellious teenager. A mothers love protects from evil by providing her children with a rich Christian faith. Her love trusts that the world will be a better place because she has touched a life. It always hopes for the very best and prays without ceasing. Thankfully you don’t have to handle this alone. Gods love fills you, and with His help you can shower your children with love. The daunting task of motherhood is possible with the help of a loving God who gives you strength.

Prayer

Dear Lord and Father. Fill me with Your love so I can have a ready supply with which to shower my children. Give me patience and let me find joy in being a mother.
