“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man [or woman] of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Lies. They are all around us. In magazines, books, on television, through music. Lies are even present in the church. How are we supposed to recognize the truth? How do we keep from being deceived?

God’s Word. Read it. Study it. Memorize it. Live it! It is capable of equipping you for every good work – including lie detection!

Satan wants to do everything in His power to make you believe a lie. He is the Master of deception. Making you think that you are less than worthy. Causing you to doubt God’s love for you.

Do you feel insignificant…unworthy…inferior? What lies are you believing today? Whatever you are thinking, challenge each thought with Scripture. Seek out the truth…God’s truth found in His perfect Word – the Bible.

Prayer
Dear Lord, help me not to be deceived by the lies that are all around me. Help me to know that I am a daughter of the King and created for a purpose. Thank you for giving me the truth found in Your Word. Amen.
