“All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:15-16

“Grace” is one of the most beautiful words I have ever heard. If someone were to describe me, I hope the word “grace” would be used in their description.

Grace is a quality pleasing for its charm. Grace is attractive. Desirable. An ‘unmerited favor.’ Grace is a favor rendered by one who need not do so. God is grace – in every sense of the word. And, His grace is sufficient for your every need. (2 Cor. 12:9)

Think in your mind of someone you know who is full of grace. I imagine someone who gives without reservation and loves unconditionally.

You must learn to become more like Christ and reflect, “the grace that is reaching more and more people,” (2 Cor. 4:15). Growing in grace requires that you have a relationship with the God of all grace. Through daily Bible reading and communion with Him, grace will be evident in your life.

Prayer
Dear Lord, Thank You for showing grace to me when there was no reason to do so. Develop grace in my life so that others may be drawn to You. Amen.
