“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30 nkjv

When people – your kids, family, friends – look at you, what do they see? How would they describe you? What words would they use? Kind? Gentle? Loving? Grouchy? Distant? Busy? Christlike?

Think of life this way – God has given my spouse to me because He wants to work through me to make him more like Him (Jesus). God has given my kids to me because He wants to work through me to make them more like Him. It’s amazing what happens when we stop and let Christ work in and through us. Our relationships change and are graced.

God’s will for you is to give way to Jesus in all His glory. To help others fix their eyes on Him in adoration of all He is. Let this be a new day…and a new you.

Prayer
Dear Lord, Help me to humbly walk with You and let Your light shine through me so that You receive glory for all I say and do. Help me not to get in the way of what You want to accomplish in my life. Amen.
