"May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge." Ruth 2:12

We have a coffee shop not far from our office called the Daily Grind. Not a bad name for a coffee place. But it’s usually the name we give to everyday life. Cranking out the daily grind… Doing dishes… Laundry… Going to work… Giving baths… Making your husband happy… Feeding the dogs… Taking them out… And dealing with a million other issues in your life every day.

If you’re like me you probably sit and wonder if anybody really understands all that you have to do. If they did, they’d probably help out a little more. That’s the old daily grind.

Sometimes I sit and wonder if anybody really sees and understands what it’s like. God does. He sees what we think goes unnoticed every day. That’s why He says do everything as unto the Lord, for there is a reward (Colossians 3:23). Your faithfulness will pay off. And your attitude as you do these things every day will determine whether or not you are going to enjoy the ride.

One day He will not only pay, but repay you for being a wonderful, virtuous, Godly woman. Start counting your blessings… and you’ll see.

Prayer
Thank You, Lord for seeing me even when it doesn’t feel like anybody else does. I pray You would meet with me in the mundane so I can approach every day with exceeding joy without growing weary. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
