"Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love." 1 John 4:7-8 NLT

God is crazy about you. You are His child.  His princess. He showers you with every good thing.  Instead of obsessing over what you don’t have, think about all you do have.  His love and attention.  Fresh air.  Clean water.  Food.  Shelter.  A place of belonging.  Health.  Family.  Friends…I am sure you can keep going from here.

Once you are aware of how lavishly God loves you, pass that love on. Everybody needs at least one person in their life to be crazy about them. And God has no greater plan than to use His people to share His love and grace.  A friend.  Mom.  Dad.  Maybe your kids.  An aging relative.  Sure, some parents will do it, but others just don’t care.  They get by. Kids deserve better and God wants you to be a parent who’s crazy about her kids. Your children are God’s children too and are worthy of His love…and yours!

God sometimes places people in our lives who need our love and attention. And, He loves to let others know of His great love for His people through you.  Can you see them?

Look around you. Let God use you to be the one who is crazy about somebody else in the world.

Prayer
Dear Lord. Thank you for being a God of lavish love. Let me rejoice in the love You give me every minute of every day. Let Your love explode in my heart and cascade into the lives of others. Amen.
