Belief is a choice. When our circumstances curl back like a 60-foot wave, about to wash over and destroy us, we must make the choice to believe that, despite the chaos around us, God is still in control. When life is falling apart and problems and challenges threaten to consume us, even if we need to close our eyes and hold our breath, we must declare the truth that:
- God is way more powerful than my problem.
- God is omnipotent; my challenges are not.
- God is bigger than my situation.
- God is higher than my wall.
- Good will come from this yet.
The Bible tells us that one day, “every knee will bow” at the name of Jesus. He is victorious over all; there are no circumstances in life that are too hard for him, no obstacles that he cannot surmount. He is the one who is in control because he is the one true God. There is no other. Let him have the authority to reign in your life. Stand strong in him, your King of kings and your Lord of lords!
